Our infant care program serves children ages 8 weeks through two years old. We follow the guidelines put forth by the National Association for the Education of Young Children to ensure your child is receiving a quality and developmentally-appropriate education.
All of our Infant Care teachers have earned infant-and-toddler specific credits at accredited institutions.
Infants

Meals
Families provide meals, milk, and formula. Teachers follow an individualized schedule decided on with the parents.
Nap Time
Nap time is individualized for our younger infant class, determined by the parents and the infant’s natural schedule.
Our older infants have two set nap times. One in the morning at 10:30AM, and a second in the afternoon at 2:30 PM.
Diapering
Diapers are checked every two hours or sooner as needed.
Toddlers
Meals
Meal times are structured to allow the children to get accustomed to a specific schedule. This also allows teachers to plan for activities.
Our teachers demonstrate the use of a spoon or fork and sit at the table to discuss with the children what foods they are eating. Teachers encourage using a cup when developmentally appropriate, otherwise, a Sippy cup can be used. Children will be encouraged to feed themselves and to try new foods but teachers will never force a child to eat. Meal times also consist of a hand washing routine.
Nap Time
Toddlers have a set nap time from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, or longer as needed.
Diapering
Diapering is a time when children can begin to understand their bodily functions. Through a gentle and understanding approach, children can develop a positive sense of self-esteem and get one-on-one communication with teachers.
Diapers are checked every two hours or sooner as needed.
Toileting
Children learn toileting practices when they are developmentally ready. It is occasionally not completed until three years of age, after children have aged up into the Preschool Side. Teachers work with parents to identify when children are showing signs of interest, then help develop a plan to partner with parents for home and school toilet learning practices. Correct hygiene procedures are part of the toileting process.
