What our Families have to say:

We love MPIC! Our two daughters are both attending (one is a toddler and one is in the preschool), and they have so much fun there and are thriving. The teachers are all so patient, caring, and attentive, and my girls really love all of the teachers and staff.

They’re also learning a lot (my toddler surprises me with things she knows… that she didn’t learn from us!), but they’re always having fun while doing it – they do crafts, learn songs, and they spend a lot of time outside which I love. MPIC has a lot of fun special themed days like pajama day, crazy hair day, superhero day, and special themed weeks like camping week and under the sea week. The preschoolers learned about the life cycle of a caterpillar/ butterfly (which resulted in a butterfly release party for all the caterpillars they grew into butterflies), the school offers preschool gymnastics classes, they sponsored an epic Easter Egg hunt and a ‘Trunk or Treat’ Halloween costume party with all kinds of games and crafts, etc. Plus, the girls are making really good friends at school (I love hearing about some of the creative games they come up with on the playground).

When we first toured the school after doing extensive research around the area, we had a gut feeling that MPIC was where we wanted our girls to be, and we continue to feel so happy that we were able to get a spot for our girls to enroll there. Highly recommend

This review is long overdue as my oldest is now in kindergarten. MPIC is the best! My daughter attended here from 6 months until age 4, and my son attended from 6 months until age 2 when our family moved too far to continue to attend. We have now had experience with two other preschools and MPIC is by far the best. The staff truly love the children and get to know them as individuals. Ms. Erika is very caring and knowledgeable about early childhood development. The kids get tons of outside play, as well as lots of art projects and sensory activities. My daughter was extremely well prepared to start school (knowing colors, letters etc) but they use play to teach the kids instead of being overly academic at too young of an age – for example, my daughter loved doing a pirate treasure hunt for letters of the alphabet. I truly cannot say enough great things about MPIC and I’m so grateful they loved my babies and took care of them when I was a nervous new mom!

For the past year, I spent every waking minute with this one-year-old little person; who was I to leave him with as it was time for me to go back to work? Being first-time parents that just moved to the West Coast, we had no network to ask. I spoke to every daycare within reasonable driving distance before we chose Montrose Infant Care. We were looking for folks who are caring, engaged, and responsive. From the first call, I could tell the team here met the criteria.

After three months, it’s clear we made the right choice. Each morning, my son’s arms are stretched out to greet his teachers. When we pick him up, he’s all smiles. Beyond the basics like consistent naps, feeding, and changes, the teachers are encouraging him to develop. Taking the time to have him walk as his confidence grows, playing in meaningful ways (“big-RED-ball, big-YELLOW-ball”), playing in new ways (sensory activities), and plenty of outdoor time. All while providing appropriate feedback to us about his day. We are extremely happy we found MPIC!

All of the teachers in my daughter’s Toddler Classroom are very positive, eMy husband and I absolutely LOVE having our 3-year-old son at Montrose Preschool and Infant Care (MPIC). We’ve been at MPIC for two years now and it’s become a second home for our son to grow, learn and have fun with his friends. The director, teachers, parents and kids have also become extended family for us! They do so many fantastic activities, themed weeks, lessons, and the playgrounds and classrooms are so nice and welcoming.

Our son started at MPIC when he was 18-months old, in the 1-2-year-old class (on the Infant side of the school). He received the best care and attention. We especially love that they have a grassy yard for the toddlers to play and run around. Since then, he went on to the 2-3-year-old class (great teachers!), and now he’s in the 3-4-year-old class (also, great teachers!). He’s so comfortable there! He loves his teachers and his friends. We have him there full-time from around 8am-5 or 6pm, 5 days/week, and he’s doing great. They have extra activities you can sign up for too! Our son does Soccer Shots on Mondays (loves his coach!) and Gymnastics on Fridays (also loves his instructor)!

We really love MPIC and will definitely be keeping our son there until he heads to Kindergarten. Of course, all schools have stories of kids that bump their heads (even biting when they’re toddlers–which it totally normal), but MPIC handles the children wonderfully, with close attention and great care, always informing the parents, and working together on solutions. My husband and I have even grown as parents, learning from the teachers as well.

We couldn’t be happier with MPIC! Such a nice community of educators, caregivers and families! : .
